Helping to improve literacy achievement in Michigan
“Knowing there's a strong correlation between M-STEP and Core5, we can rely on Lexia's progress monitoring data provided. For the first time, we had the ability to adjust our instruction based on real-time progress monitoring. If you want a program that will personalize learning for your students, individualize instruction and provide your teachers with the data to drive their instruction, then Lexia is a tool for you.”

Michigan’s implementation reaches all pre-K–6 and pre-K–12 SPED-endorsed teachers and administrators across the four cohorts. Cohort 1 launched in winter 2021; Cohort 2 launched n spring 2022; Cohort 3 launched in fall 2022; and Cohort 4launched in February 2023.
Participants in all four cohorts (more than 4,000 educators) are actively engaged in learning asynchronously and in live facilitated sessions.
