Across Nebraska, supplemental and intervention programs grounded in the science of reading are proving effective in accelerating students’ development of literacy skills. Research-proven programs can help educators reach literacy goals by providing actionable, real-time data to teachers, school administrators, and district administrators. During the 2025–2026 school year, around 20,800 pre-K through fifth grade students across 207 schools in Nebraska used Lexia® Core5® Reading to support their diverse learning needs.

• 72% of students were at or above grade level by year’s end
• The percentage of students below grade level dropped from 68% to 28%
• 43% of Nebraska students achieved grade-level benchmarks
