Around the World
"A little girl recently joined our kindergarten class who was a refugee from Africa and spoke very little English. She was naturally quiet and kept to herself. I can only imagine how isolated and lost she may have felt. I put her on Lexia® Core5® Reading, our technology-based literacy program where students travel the world virtually.
Suddenly, this quiet, little girl was filled with excitement. She couldn’t wait to do the lessons with the lion and giraffe. Lexia had brought Africa to her! For many students, Lexia is special because it introduces them to new places and experiences. For others, it’s even more meaningful because it helps them feel at home in new surroundings."
