North Carolina Large Suburban School District Correlation Summary Report
In North Carolina, the Lexia® Core5® Reading blended learning program has yielded promising results for elementary students. Data shows that 83% of students who met the Core5 end-of-year (EOY) benchmark were also proficient on end-of-grade (EOG) reading. Lexia’s Core5 material prepares students to perform well on EOG reading assessments, allowing more students to develop reading proficiency.
We also provide Core5 Performance Predictor scores, which allow for dynamic monthly progress monitoring. This helps educators track how likely it is their students will reach their EOY benchmark in Core5. These predictors can also be used to forecast performance on EOG Reading assessments.
The Lexia Core5 Reading program adapts to students’ unique needs and helps accelerate the literacy acquisition process for students of all abilities. Our program is built on Structured Literacy and designed to support students of all backgrounds and abilities, bridging the gap between learning to read and reading to learn.
