Boosting WIDA ACCESS Scores for Florida Multilingual Learners

A large suburban school district in Florida is enlisting the help of Lexia English Language Development™ to accelerate language learning for its multilingual learners. This infographic illustrates the success of the effort during the 2024–2025 school year, with higher achievement in Lexia English correlating with stronger scores on the WIDA ACCESS assessment.

Among multilingual learners in grades 6–8, there was a .63 correlation between high middle-of-the-year achievement in Lexia English and higher WIDA ACCESS scores. This correlation is well above the .35 considered to be strong and positive.
