Achieving 72%: Arizona Admins Combine Lexia LETRS Professional Learning and Early Literacy Programs for Strong Reading Skills
Arizona district leaders are combining Lexia® LETRS® Professional Learning and Lexia® Core5® Reading to drive stronger reading outcomes statewide. In this flyer, explore how your school can replicate the success in Arizona, close achievement gaps, and meet statewide reading goals.
During the 2022–2023 school year, almost 5,000 teachers, principals, and instructional coaches completed LETRS science of reading professional learning, and 68,479 students engaged with Core5 targeted instruction. Students meeting usage targets more than doubled proficiency rates from 32% at the start of the year to 79% by year's end. Among students who used Core5 with fidelity, 87% advanced at least one grade level, and 60% of all third grade students using Core5 improved by one grade level regardless of usage fidelity.
