Lexia® English TX ELP Standards Progress Report

Of the Texas students who used Lexia English with fidelity, approximately 1 in 3 students moved up to the next TX ELPS proficiency band. Students engaged in 281,000 conversations with Lexia® English Language Development™ characters across over 26,400 hours of independent practice in academic conversations. Lexia English (grades K–6) is an adaptive blended learning speaking and listening program that strengthens speaking and listening skills while supporting English language development through academic conversations. By integrating three key areas—speaking, listening, and grammar—and emphasizing content language in math, science, social studies, general knowledge, and biographies, students build both language skills and subject knowledge. Emergent Bilingual students gain higher levels of English proficiency and educators are empowered to deliver measurable literacy growth.
