LETRS Connect: Ongoing Professional Learning for LETRS Graduates
Strong professional learning should continue to support educators after a course is complete. Lexia® LETRS® Connect™ helps LETRS graduates build on their existing knowledge with ongoing access to literacy research, expert guidance, practical resources, and opportunities to strengthen evidence-based instructional practices.
This flyer explains how LETRS Connect helps educators continue the LETRS journey while keeping their learning relevant to classroom needs. Educators can revisit previously completed LETRS course content and resources to reinforce foundational knowledge and maintain instructional consistency. They can also engage with a library of sessions led by science of reading experts, giving them access to current research, practical activities, and new perspectives on effective literacy instruction.
LETRS Connect supports continued growth across essential areas of literacy, including reading research, phoneme awareness, phonics, morphology, spelling, fluency, comprehension, and writing. It also helps educators broaden their strategies for multilingual students and refine support for students who experience challenges with language comprehension.
Additional features are designed to make professional learning actionable. Check for Understanding assessments help educators gauge knowledge growth, while an enhanced Resource Library provides modeling videos, downloadable materials, graphic organizers, and classroom activities. Periodic live online events create opportunities to learn directly from researchers, practitioners, and subject matter experts.
For school and district leaders, these ongoing supports can help extend the value of an investment in LETRS by giving educators structured opportunities to reinforce knowledge and refine practice over time. For educators, LETRS Connect offers a practical bridge between professional learning and classroom implementation, supporting confidence, continuous improvement, and research-based literacy instruction that responds to the needs of more students.
