Annual LETRS Infographic
Lexia® LETRS® Professional Learning is helping educators across the country convert research into practice. During the 2024–2025 academic year, more than 101,100 educators attended live LETRS sessions, with more than 16,000 sessions delivered. The impact is clear: 95% of participants agreed the content would enhance their ability to use research-based practices, and 94% said the sessions deepened their understanding of key LETRS concepts.
Educators also reported increased confidence in applying the science of reading in their classrooms. A large majority said they now feel equipped to deliver instruction aligned with reading science and better identify the specific literacy needs of their students. The structured progression of the program, from phonological awareness to more complex instructional strategies, empowers educators to build their knowledge step by step and apply it in meaningful ways.
Student outcomes reflect this growth. Learners in Lexia® Core5® Reading classrooms led by LETRS-trained teachers were more likely to meet usage targets and achieve higher reading scores than those without a LETRS-trained teacher, demonstrating the link between professional learning and student success.
