Annual LETRS Infographic
Lexia® LETRS® Professional Learning continues to help educators translate literacy research into effective classroom practice. During the 2025–2026 school year, the LETRS Professional Learning Suite recorded more than 140,000 participant enrollments, bringing the five-year total to nearly 600,000.
Live online professional learning also reached educators at scale. Nearly 70,000 educators attended a live session, and more than 11,000 sessions were delivered. Ninety-five percent of participants agreed that the session content would enhance their ability to use research-based practices in their role. The same percentage reported feeling confident delivering instruction grounded in the science of reading.
Educator feedback demonstrates how LETRS supports both instructional knowledge and classroom application. Ninety-one percent of educators said they can identify and address students' literacy instructional needs. Eighty-five percent indicated their students are using evidence-based LETRS strategies while reading, and 82% reported a positive impact on student performance benchmarks after implementing LETRS strategies.
LETRS participation is associated with stronger teaching practices and student outcomes. Teachers who complete LETRS training increase their knowledge of science-based reading instruction and demonstrate improved instructional practices. Among students using Lexia® Core5® Reading, those taught by LETRS-trained educators met usage targets more frequently and achieved higher reading scores than students whose teachers had not completed LETRS training.
By breaking complex literacy concepts into practical, actionable strategies, LETRS helps educators strengthen instruction in foundational literacy, language comprehension, phonics, reading, and writing. The 2025–2026 results demonstrate how sustained professional learning builds educator confidence, improves instructional decision-making, and supports meaningful literacy growth for students.
