Worthington District 518 embarks on new literacy curriculum, training

As part of the statewide READ Act, Minnesota implemented professional development training in the science of reading with Lexia® LETRS®. Educators in District 518 became the first cohort trained in these new modules, and the response has been positive. By June 2026, all teachers will be required to go through the training.
