The most underutilized resource in literacy? Parents

A recent survey by Lexia found more than half of students make gains in their literacy with parent involvement, but this is a challenge to make happen. Parents can lack the time, knowledge, and/or resources to support their children in the way they need. This article highlights Lexia’s ability to provide nuanced data on each student to jump-start productive conversations with parents around the science of reading and how to support students at home and in the classroom.
