Survey aims to assess state’s ‘literary landscape’

The New Hampshire Department of Education launched a Leaning into Literacy initiative that includes a survey to assess the current state of literacy in the state, as well as implementing Lexia® LETRS® to train educators and caregivers about the science of reading. 

“Strong literacy skills are crucial for the future success of our youth, and we are committed to making sure that every child in New Hampshire has the support they need to become a proficient reader—and foster a love of reading for the rest of their lifetime,” Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut said.
