How districts in Georgia, Maryland, and D.C. are raising reading proficiency

The National Assessment of Educational Progress’ National Report Card revealed fourth grade reading levels had dropped from 2022 to 2024 except in three key districts. Allegany County in Maryland was one, following a two-year partnership with Lexia® LETRS®, helping teachers master the science of reading and how to implement it in their classrooms.
