Michigan students lag in reading. Will mandatory teacher training help?

The Michigan Department of Education is now requiring educators be trained in the science of reading. While the mandate is leaving some teachers skeptical, those who have taken Lexia® LETRS® courses contend that it is worth the time and has supported them in their literacy instruction.
