Literacy remains Savannah-Chatham schools’ North Star in face of GMAS declines

Following Georgia Milestones Assessment System results that cited a double-digit ELA loss in six schools during 2025 (some following double-digit gains in 2024), school leadership dug into the data to decipher the source of the challenge. While it was disappointing, leadership is still confident in the approach, including implementing Lexia® LETRS® for teacher professional development.
