Kindergarten literacy: Gaps to close, still ready to grow

According to a Lexia® survey of 200 educators to assess kindergarten readiness in 2025 versus 2019, educators reported post-pandemic kindergartners were behind in early literacy skills as well as social-emotional readiness. However, educators also reported students as being curious and eager to learn.
