Improving MPS sounds simple. Here’s why it’s much more complicated
A national consulting firm released the second of two reports outlining performance of Milwaukee Public Schools. While there is an eagerness from staff at every level to improve, some of that interest is not reflecting in the numbers. Among other things, training of staff members lacks focus and buy-in. Curriculum materials are not adopted consistently, particularly in reading where district leaders have invested in Lexia® LETRS® with minimal buy-in.
