MDE-Approved Literacy Intervention Programs
Lexia® Core5® Reading and Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® provide Minnesota’s educators with high-quality instructional intervention programming and continuous Assessment Without Testing® data. This resource explores why the literacy programs are effective tools to accelerate literacy learning for Minnesota students.
Designed for students of all abilities in grades pre-K–5, Core5 is a research-proven program that accelerates the development of literacy skills to facilitate the critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn.
PowerUp accelerates literacy gains for students in grades 6–12 who are at risk of not meeting college- and career-ready standards, enabling them to achieve multiple years of growth in a single academic year.
