Lexia® English Language Development® and ELPAC Correlation Study
Lexia® English Language Development® performance measures were shown to be valid indicators of English language proficiency based on comparisons with scores on the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) test. There was a strong positive correlation between Emergent Bilingual students’ Lexia English ending level and overall ELPAC score, providing evidence that students who worked on higher levels in Lexia English scored higher on the ELPAC.
