Preparing Students for College and Careers Through Increased Literacy Proficiency

Ohio’s River Valley Local School District recently elevated its graduation standards to better prepare students for success entering college and the workforce. However, RAPID™ Assessment revealed the district's middle school population was failing to demonstrate proficiency in grammar. To remedy this, Nancy Talley, director of curriculum, introduced Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® to customize and optimize the student learning experience.
