New York City Progress Report

Across New York City, students made substantial progress in Core5. At the start of the school year, 49% of students were working on Core5 material in or above their grade level. That number increased to 89% by the end of the school year. Students working below grade level also reduced from 51% to 11%. Over two-thirds of the population reached their grade-level benchmark in Core5.
