Michigan State Progress Report

In Michigan, students made substantial progress in Core5. At the start of the school year, 42% of students were working on Core5 material in or above their grade level (Figure 1). That number increased to 89% by the end of the school year. Students working below grade level reduced from 58% to 11%. Almost two-thirds of the population reached their grade-level benchmark in Core5.
