Support for Using Lexia
Here are two important steps for success with Lexia:
- Set up accounts for new students and teachers
- Communicate the support and professional learning opportunities to educators and families
Step 1. Set up accounts for new students and teachers
In some cases, your site may be rostering new or additional students at this time. If you are not the member of the team that oversees account provisioning for Lexia, the best course of action is to reach out to the person or department that typically rosters accounts, and let them know that you will be expanding use.
If you oversee the provisioning of Lexia accounts, we strongly recommend that you continue to use the same method for rostering accounts that you have up to this point to limit the disruption to staff and students. For more information about expanding your use of Lexia, visit our Educator Resources page.
Step 2. Communicate the support and professional learning opportunities to educators and families

If your district or school has access* to Lexia Academy, our eLearning platform that supports educators’ professional development with meaningful and relevant learning opportunities, they can explore courses that provide best practices for implementing Lexia products and for literacy instruction in general. They can then apply the concepts and ideas to their own instructional plan in order to better support their students.
*Once you log into myLexia.com, you can see If you have access to Lexia Academy since there will be a Lexia Academy icon in the upper right corner. If you don’t see a Lexia Academy icon, you can ask your Lexia administrator about it.
