Nyree Copeland-Whyte is the Director of Digital Learning for Achievement First Schools, a growing network of nonprofit, high-performing, college-preparatory K to 12 public charter schools that serves over 15,000 students in Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island.
Nyree leads the research, development, and implementation of integrated digital curriculum, instruction, technology tools, and strategies to enhance student learning and build teacher and administrator skills in driving student achievement. A dedicated educator with over twenty years of urban teaching, coaching, and education administrator experience in New York City Public Schools, Connecticut Charter Schools, and community-based organizations. Nyree firmly believes that all children can learn when provided the foundational knowledge, instruction that addresses their learning style, access to the proper resources such as technology, and genuine loving support.
Nyree enjoys reading mystery novels by Walter Mosley, cooking, and traveling the world with her husband, Paul.
