INTEGRATED PLACEMENT
The integrated placement utility in this program continuously monitors students' progress as they work through the activities. Activities that need the most practice are the only ones available for use, and display on the Select an Activities screen along the horizontal bar graphs. (If you have only installed one Cross-Trainer module, this feature is not available.)
It is important to note that because each Select an Activity menu is tailored to meet each student's individual needs, students often will not have the same activities available to them. Eventually, all of the students will have the opportunity to complete every activity, but the activities are introduced to each student when it is appropriate for them to meet the challenge.
The Challenge Flags along the bar graphs mark the goals students must achieve before they can progress to other activities. When students complete the required levels, they are alerted that they have reached a Challenge Flag, and the activities menu changes with new flags to mark new goals and activities. This feature ensures that students consistently advance through the activities in a balanced progression.
