| Symptom |
Uninstallation of the LexiaServer database service must be done manually from the server or workstation that hosts the service.

| Solution |
OS X
- Log in as Administrator.
- Stop the Lexiaserver database service. (See tech note #100404 for details.)
- Delete the folder that contains the LexiaServer service.
- Delete /Library/Startup Items/LexiaServer to prevent the daemon from attempting to launch at startup.
Windows XP, 2003 Server
- Stop the Lexiaserver database service. (See tech note #100404 for details.)
- Start a Command Line prompt (start->Run…, type ‘cmd’, press Enter).
- Type 'cd c:\program files\lexiaserver' press Enter. (Where the path is the installed path of the lexiaserver service.)
- Type 'lexiaserver.exe -r' and press Enter to unregister the service.
- Delete the 'c:\lexiaserver' folder and all of its contents.
