Lexia has a long history of collaborative relationships with public school districts for the purpose of gathering data on the performance of students using Lexia Reading programs. Lexia’s research initiatives are characterized by rigorous study designs involving norm-referenced standardized reading measures, treatment and control conditions and carefully measured program use. Participating as a research partner involves a significant commitment of time and resources on the part of school staff. The ultimate objective of Lexia’s research programs is to collect and publish findings in independent peer reviewed reading journals. Schools selected for study participation are eligible for grant support from Lexia to compensate for costs incurred by study participation.
