Lexia Tech Note #204004
Solution: |
If you have class access and you accidentally selected “Remove Checked Students” from your class on the MyLexia homepage, don’t worry, you have not actually deleted the student permanently. The student has only been removed from your class. To add the student back into your class, select “Add Students” above your class list, and you will be directed to a new page where all the available students will be shown. Select the student from the list on the left and select “Add”. This will move that student into the right box which adds them back into your class. If you have school or district access, and you accidentally selected “Delete” with students selected on the MyLexia Students page, don’t worry, you have not actually deleted the students permanently. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see “”X Students have been deleted”, where X is the number of students who have been deleted. Next to that will be “Show Deleted Students”. If you click on “Show”, the list of deleted students will expand below. You can then select the students who were accidentally deleted and click “Undelete” to return them to the student list above. If you select “Permanently Delete”, the students will be permanently deleted. Be very careful with the Permanent Delete button–this action cannot be undone. Once the students have been permanently deleted, there is no way to recover them, and they will have to be added back in manually or with an import. |
