  • Q: What if I have a proxy server?
  • A: Customers who use proxy servers should remember that they will need to make sure that their installations have the proxy server information included in their login.ini. The proxy server address, port, and if needed, the username and password are required to be included in this file before students can access Lexia Reading.
  • Customers that are using Lexia Reading student software version 5.0.10 and earlier of the student software should use a text editor to edit their login.ini file (found in Program Files\Lexia\LLSCommon or Applications\Lexia\LLSCommon). These users should be careful not to add carriage returns to their file.  
  • The Lexia Reading student software v5.1 has a configuration interface that is displayed at first run and makes adding this information easier. If you need to define the server URL to your proxy server it is https://student.mylexia.com.

 

  • Q: What if I made changes to the screen display in a previous version?
  • A: Any configuration changes you have made previously, like turning full screen mode off, may need to be reapplied.
