The following documentation will help you successfully implement Lexia Reading on the student and administrative level.

 

These documents will help you through the processes outlined on this page. You should print them out and keep them as a reference.

 

Student Account Import Templates

Use our Microsoft Excel template for adding students. Please do not change or add to column headings and create a separate file for each school. Make sure you indicate which file goes with which school and include your customer number in an e-mail to support@lexialearning.com. See Importing Student Information (pdf) for instructions.

 

After students have been set up with accounts, teacher accounts will need to be created. Once teacher accounts exist, classes can then be created and tied to one or more teachers, and students can be assigned to the classes. All of this is done through the MyLexia website. To begin, log into MyLexia:

  1. Create Schools
    This applies to District Level users only.
  2. Create Teachers and Staff (import template)

    You can create teachers one at a time or use the Microsoft Excel file template for adding teacher and staff account. Please do not change or add to column headings, and create a separate file for each school. Make sure you indicate which file goes with which school, and include your customer number in an email to support@lexialearning.com. See Importing Staff Information (pdf, 111 KB) for instructions.
  3. Create Students
    You will only need to create students if you have not imported or migrated students as detailed above.
  4. Create Classes
  5. Distribute User Information
    Notify students and teachers how to use the software.

 

After students, teachers, and classes have been connected via the MyLexia website, you will need to roll out the student software to any machines the students will use to run Lexia Reading.

  • Lexia only supports installations where the student software is installed on each student machine.
