Sales Representative
Lexia Learning Systems is recruiting full-time sales professionals to join the expanding sales team. Be part of our growth and provide school districts with software that will help students of all ages become proficient readers.
In this role, by communicating with teachers, principals and district administrators you will introduce the benefits of the Lexia programs supporting the fulfillment of the school’s goal to successfully teach fundamental reading skills to all students. Within your assigned territory you will be responsible for initiating and building customer relationships while expanding market share with existing customers. You will be expected to meet or exceed a quarterly and annual sales target.
The selected candidates will enjoy working with educators, work well collaborating in a team environment as well as independently, and have demonstrated success in applying strong sales, telephone and written communication skills. The ideal background is one that encompasses 5 plus years of experience in direct sales and familiarity with the education industry particularly K-12. The sales professionals in these positions, along with fellow employees at the company, will make a difference in the lives of students and teachers who come to use Lexia’s software products.
This sales position is located in our offices in Concord, MA, where you are expected to work on-site and does entail a small amount of travel. Lexia Learning offers a competitive base salary plus commission compensation structure, and a generous array of benefits including health and dental insurance, group term life, short and long term disability, 401(k) with matching, and vacation accrual that starts at 3 weeks per year.
