Educational Research and Content Associate (Concord, MA)

Lexia is seeking an Associate in the area of research and design with an interest in educational technology.​ Working as part of a team of educational researchers and content designers the major responsibilities include developing, running, and reporting on research queries to the internal database in support of sales and outreach efforts.  Additionally, the position will involve work on developing and testing educational content. The projects are fast-paced and require that work be completed in a timely manner with high-quality results.


Responsibilities

  • Active contribution in developing research queries to produce practical, educationally actionable data and reports
  • Design and run queries to provide data analyses on customer, student and product trends
  • Develop data reports and graphs to support outreach, sales, and marketing efforts to communicate with customers and stakeholders
  • Independently identify trends and patterns to assist in report and content design
  • Lead testing and review of new activities from educational content perspective
  • Create and manage content documentation for other English speaking countries versions
  • Assist with the administration and management of content/creative assets
  • Collaboratively develop and test new software activities and content
  • Independently organize and document content, reports, and structure

Requirements

  • One to three years experience designing and executing educational research studies and/or children’s media design including content creation and quality assessment testing, with a strong background in educational technology
  • A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree in education, cognitive psychology, educational technology or related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in educational research identifying research questions, using database queries, data analysis, and data collection
  • Experience or familiarity with reading instruction, assessment, and multi-tiered instructional intervention in classroom settings
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with high quality results on projects with short turn-around times
  • A track record of quality work and excellent reference
  • Ability to work full time in the Concord, MA office
