Creative Director (Interactive) – (Concord, MA)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Creative Director/Interactive Designer to join our Concord-based team. Someone who can be a hands-on designer and animator, and manage a creative team. You will be working collaboratively in a small team of developers and educators focused on delivering great products for students.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall artistic vision and creation of animations and interactive design from conceptualization to completion.
- Storyboard, design and develop animations and illustrations using Flash, Illustrator or Photoshop, Fireworks, and other current technologies
- Work with engineering and educational content team to design and develop our next generation student application
- Develop style guidelines and manage additional creative members either internal or external
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years experience designing consumer products
- Experience managing and providing art direction to design team
- Advanced knowledge of animation in the Flash/Flex environment
- A strong eye for detail, open to new ideas and technologies
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-oriented work environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
- BA/BFA in Graphic Design or graphics-related field
Additional Skills (a plus):
- Web and Flash development skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript)
- Experience designing and animating for educational software or games
- Background in educational software focused on reading skills a plus
