Associate Sales Representative
Lexia Learning Systems is seeking enthusiastic, organized individuals to join our expanding direct sales team. This is a great opportunity to initiate a career in educational sales. In this entry level role, you will learn educational sales by working with experienced sales reps engaging teachers, principals and district administrators to introduce the benefits of the Lexia Reading programs. Bring your inherent sales and organizational skills to initiating and building customer relationships while supporting the expansion of market share with existing customers. You will develop skills in use of sales systems.
The selected candidates will enjoy working with educators, work well collaborating in a team environment as well as independently, and have demonstrated success in applying initial sales, telephone and written communication skills. The ideal background is one that encompasses previous sales exposure of 1 – 2 years, experience with customer database systems and familiarity with the education industry particularly K-12. As a sales professional in these positions you, along with fellow employees at the company, will make a difference in the lives of students and teachers who come to use Lexia’s software products.
This direct sales position is located in our offices in Concord, MA, where you are expected to work on-site and could entail a small amount of travel. Lexia Learning offers a competitive base salary plus commission compensation structure, and a generous array of benefits including health and dental insurance, group term life, short and long term disability, 401(k) with matching, and vacation accrual that starts at 3 weeks per year.
